Hometown Heroes - Street Banner Program

The Township of Little Falls is proud to launch a much beloved program that will honor Little Falls' veterans over the years and give them the public recognition that they deserve. This program was launched in 2023 and in just one short year the Township has displayed over 40 Hometown Heroes Banners throughout Little Falls.

Honoring Those Who Honor Us With Their Service

Banners will be hung on street poles between the American Legion Post (593 Main Street) & Passaic Valley Regional Highschool (100 E. Main Street).

The cost of $140 per banner pays for the banner itself, the cost to have the banners hung on the poles, and some additional funding to be reserved in the event a banner needs to be replaced due to an act of God. The Township will pick up the remainder of the costs involved that are not covered by the fee, which includes the banner brackets and the other half of the cost to erect the banners. Banners will be displayed from Memorial Day (May) to Veterans Day (November).
