Link to the USGS Peckman River Gauge in Little Falls (Station No. 01389550). This gage is funded by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Note that flood stage is above elevation 7. The maximum discharge (2,010 cubic feet per second) and maximum depth (9.2 feet) were recorded during Hurricane Irene in 2011.

Link to the National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service gauge on the Passaic River in Little Falls below Beattie’s Dam. Note that the website provides up to three days of advanced warning of higher than usual water surface elevations. Food stage is elevation 7.

Rainfall Data
The Little Falls USGS heated rain gage is operated for flood-warning purposes and is located just upstream of the bridge on Francisco Avenue. This gage is operated for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer flood damage reduction feasibility study.
