American Water Notice
Important Information about Your Water Service Line
New Jersey American Water is continuing its work here in Little Falls to identify whether any homes have lead or galvanized service lines, which can pose health risks if present. There are still hundreds of homes in town where this testing needs to be completed.
Over the coming weeks, New Jersey American Water representatives will be visiting neighborhoods and leaving door hang tags at homes where further testing is needed. In order to complete this work, they may need to dig a small section of your front lawn to inspect the service line that connects your home to the water main in the street.
This inspection is quick, important, and free of charge. If you receive a hang tag, please call the phone number provided right away to schedule the testing of your service line.
Your cooperation is essential to help ensure the continued safety and reliability of our community’s water supply. Thank you for helping us keep Little Falls healthy and safe.
